Memorial Scholarships

We are proud to announce that this year the NYPD Running Club Memorial Scholarship program has awarded seven college scholarships totaling $13,500.

To date the NYPD Running Club has given out $56,000 in college scholarship awards.

2011 Winners

Based on results of a competitive exam administered on March 23, 2011 the following high school seniors were given awards:

Eligibility for these awards

High school seniors who are children, grand children or great-grand children of any NYPD Member of the Service who died in the line of duty. The deceased member of the service must have been a uniformed, civilian, or an Auxiliary Police Officer. These awards are based on the results of a competitive exam administered each year in March. The winners will be based on the examination scores and other criteria determined by the Officers of the NYPD Running Club.
