The NYPD Running Club is partnering with the Metro New York Chapter of Concerns Of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and proceeds from this event will enhance their organizations ability to continue to enrich the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of NYPD officers who have died in the line of duty. www.metronycops.org

High school seniors who are children, grand children or great-grand children of any NYPD Member of the Service who died in the line of duty. The deceased member of the service must have been a uniformed, civilian, or an Auxiliary Police Officer. These awards are based on the results of a competitive exam administered each year in March. The winners will be based on the examination scores and other criteria determined by the Officers of the NYPD Running Club.
