9th Annual NYPD Memorial 5k Run

Each year on the Sunday following National Peace Officers' Memorial Day on May 15 the NYPD Running Club is honored to bring together Law Enforcement Officers and the community, to pay tribute to the more than 700 NYPD Officers who have been killed in the line of duty. In a continued effort to honor our fallen comrades we gather for a short prayer at the NYC Police Memorial Wall in Battery Park City, followed by a 5K Run, a Children's Fun Run, and a free barbeque for all participants.

2010 Scholarships update
The NYPD Running Club awarded $13,000 in scholarships to seven children, or grandchildren, of our lost comrades. View winner information here »
